I am worried about this fight. People are sayin that Brandon has lost his killer instinct, that desire to finish his fights and instead "coasted" during fights expecting to get a decision. I noticed when he dropped weight and travels far, he can't explode, but his technique stays sound. The results is a technical, slow fight. UFC is only going to tolerate that for a while. He's THE best muy thai fighter in light heavyweight (exception: Anderson) and it's time for him to figure out how to stay strong in tough road or weight conditions to keep his shot at the elite. If he wants Elite and not just great.

The decision in UFC 105 is really frustrating. I agree with Joe Rogan that you should have won that fight. Brandon clearly scored points on strikes on all rounds and had Randy in danger on the 2nd. sorry for the late post.. i still can't believe that brandon lost. i was watching the fight on studio 23 because we don't have balls. i stayed up late because i was so excited with the fight. after the fight, i couldn't sleep. i kept on wondering how did randy win over brandon? i don't know how the scoring works but by just looking at the match, there was little damage randy did on brandon. everything was done on the fence. i mean, yeah, sure, brandon wasn't able to move because he was pinned on the fence but randy couldn't take him down either. on the other hand, brandon was fierce with his kicks. the opener was really awesome. not to mention the body kicks that really hurt randy. i'm not saying this because i'm being biased because i'm a filipino. i'm saying this because that's what i feel. i was really disappointed on how the judges gave the scores. it was worse than the machida-rua fight. one of the commentators was right, if you want to secure the win, you must make your opponent tapout or knock him out. hats off to you brandon. i'm so proud to see you fight wearing the colors of our flag on your shorts. i'll look forward to your next fight. i know you are better than this.. and i know that your next opponent will be sorry he faced you..

UFC is losing it's credibility when it comes to judges decisions. Dana White should have a UFC to finish the controversial decisions. Two main events Vera vs Couture II and Rua vs Machida II. It's obvious, without a doubt, you won that match with Couture. Couture is one tough hall of famer, but when he accepted this controversial win, I lost respect for him. If I was him, I'd tell everyone that I didnt deserve that decision, he got owned.

I watched the fight and couple of things came to mind: 1. The ref hardly broke you two apart especially the lengthy lull times as apparent with some of the crowds boos 2. Round 2 and 3 was yours with your takedowns of RC 3. If I was a judge, hands down your the winner pare.

Brandon - great fight. I know you may be disappointed but this has made you stronger. If you noticed, Randy was the first one to give you props on the mic - that was very classy of him to do that. He also noted that you never know how the judges are gonna see it. He stuck to his grapple / tight in approach because he knew you're vicious when you have space. He used the judgment of a veteran and made you push his weight off the fence. This wasn't an ass whoopin one sided fight as these other posts like to say. Bobthelie, are you saying what Randy did was crafty??? All he did was lean on Vera for 3 rounds, and ground and pound? WHAT?!?!? Vera's game plan was obviously not executed perfectly but he obviously won the fight with the only takedown in the match and the only knockdown, two of the highest scoring things in MMA and the judges took it away from him, This was just as bad as the judging for the Rua vs Machida fight. Should have been 29-28 Vera from all three judges.

I give credit to Matt Hamill for the win on March 7. He was a respectable contender that night in the octagon. Physically I am doing fine. I have some dizzyness which is normal after a concussion, but overall I’m doing well.
